Computer Software and Theory

The scholars in this direction mainly focus on scientific research in intelligent computing, data mining and machine learning, database technology and service computing, graphics and image processing, and multimedia technology, etc. Featured directions has been formed such as intelligent optimization and learning, remote sensing image processing, and intelligent planning of spacecraft tasks and so on. There are 26 full-time teachers, including 2 academic leaders and 4 academic backbones. In the past 5 years, they have undertaken 18 national scientific research projects, published 56 SCI papers, published 2 monographs, obtained 1 provincial and ministerial award, and 2 China national invention patents.
