The CUG School of Computer Science traces its roots back to Wuhan Computing Station of Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources. After 30 years of concerted commitment, we have developed into a computer science college with distinctive academic strength and growing world impact.

The Computer Science and Technology disciplines of CUG are evaluated as B by the Ministry of Education, and selected for “Double-first Class” Initiative of CUG. In 2019, The Computer Science discipline is ranked as top 4‰ globally.
