Key Laboratory of Quantitative Resource Evaluation and Information Engineering

The Key Laboratory of Resource Quantitative Evaluation and Information Engineering of the Ministry of Natural Resourcesis a laboratory focusing on quantitative resource evaluation and information engineering, relying on China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). The main research tasks of this laboratory are to study new theories and methods of quantitative resource evaluation and development; develop application software for land data spatial data analysis; implement multi-source information integration and information system engineering for land and resources; provide modern resource quantitative forecasting technology and information engineering services for sustainable economic development, and cultivate and produce high-quality, high-level geoscience information technology talents. Relying on the laboratory director responsibility system under the leadership of China University of Geosciences, the laboratory implements an open, mobile, joint, and competitive operating mechanism.
